For the grown-ups

A few good questions.

Is SpellBell available yet?

SpellBell is coming soon to the App Store in Israel and the United States. It will be free to download, with no ads, subscriptions, or in-app purchases.

Who is it for?

SpellBell is designed for children ages 9–11 practicing English spelling. Parents can type the words their child is learning at school or choose a list together.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. Lists and practice progress are stored on your iPhone. Practice works offline once an English system voice is available. Downloading a voice may need internet.

Can my child use it in Hebrew?

Yes. The interface supports Hebrew, including right-to-left navigation, and English. Spoken words and spelling answers are always in English.

What happens after a mistake?

The app gently shows the submitted answer and the correct spelling. After the first round, missed words return for another try. Children continue at their own pace and can finish whenever they choose.

Are my child’s answers collected?

No. Word lists and practice answers stay on the device. SpellBell has no accounts, tracking, or analytics. You can read the full policy on our Privacy page.
